Supporting the community and local charities
Each year at Merlino's Christmas Trees, we show our support for a local charity. This year we will be spreading the love and supporting The Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Each year you can show your support by donating a gold coin and we will happily net your freshly cut Christmas tree netted.
Don't know what netting a real cut Christmas actually means? It's just like wrapping a present, except for a real Christmas tree.
Proudly supporting The Children's Hospital at Westmead & Randwick 2012 - 2022
Together we have raised over $20,000 for The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Thank you for all of your support and generosity each and every year.
Don't forget, you can also further your support by joining the Christmas Lights Appeal "Light up a life" campaign and following the Bandaged Bear on Facebook.
Proudly supporting All Hallows Primary School
In 2017, Merlino's Christmas Tree's supported our local primary school All Hallow's Five Dock by contributing towards their annual carnival in September.
The funds raised help contribute towards the future of the school and to further benefit future generation of students.
Supporting The Princess Charlotte Alopecia Foundation (2010 & 2011)
With your support In 2010 & 2011, we managed to raise over $1200 for the Princess Charlotte Alopecia Foundation to help pay for a number of wigs for individuals.
Alopecia areata is a condition affecting people, in which hair is lost from areas of the body, usually the scalp. The condition can affect people of all ages that are healthy and have no skin disorder. It commonly occurs in late teenage years, early childhood and your adulthood.
The foundation is now run as a program by Variety Australia. You can continue to support this wonderful cause by donating money or even your own hair.
